Lisa Marie Barber, "Plane Boy with Building", mixed media quilt, 54"x 70", 2007

Artists include:

The artists in Exchange explore the exhibition’s title concept in a variety of media including sculpture, ceramic, paint, print, collage, drawing, sound, and video. At times Exchange refers to an interchange of ideas, processes, and ultimately products created by two or more artists working in collaboration. Exchange also relates to an interplay and range of histories, cultures, and technologies within an individual artists’ work. Referencing personal identity, art history, and multiple modes of communication, the diverse array of work in this exhibition speaks to the many ways in which the concept of Exchange is expressed.
